MIAMI CONCOURS: Cars & Coffee, Art Week Edition

Today was one of those magical days where work and passion collide. I arrived early for a photoshoot in Miami’s Design District with my client, the talented Jimmy Akingbola (@jimmyakingbola). While waiting, I stumbled upon MIAMI CONCOURS: Cars & Coffee, Art Week Edition (@miamiconcours) —an unexpected highlight of Art Basel Weekend.

The streets were alive with luxury cars—Bugattis, Porsches, Lamborghinis, and more—each a work of art in motion. The energy of the event, combined with the artistry of the cars, brought back memories of my early days as a photographer, capturing the beauty of automotive design with nothing but my camera and a dream. Now, with 15 years of experience, it reminded me of the joy of creating purely for fun.

The photoshoot with Jimmy was equally rewarding. Working with someone as charismatic and talented as him always brings out the best in my craft. Behind the scenes, I had the privilege of collaborating with the amazing Amadou Cisse (@amadoucissemedia), whose expertise and creative eye elevated the experience. It’s always inspiring to share the process with such passionate individuals.

I also connected with Kyle Maszak (@carbon_3v), a young car photographer and videographer just starting out in the industry. His passion was a reflection of my own early days, and our conversation reminded me to keep that initial spark alive.

Art Basel is more than an event; it’s a celebration of creativity in all its forms. This day was a gift, a chance to pause and appreciate the journey—past, present, and future.

Flying Solo’s Miami Swim and Resort Week runway shows were nothing short of a masterpiece, bringing together creativity, sustainability, and diversity in a truly stunning way. As one of the videographers and photographers covering the event under Zavier De’Angelo Productions, I had the opportunity to capture some of the most inspiring moments from the show. Hosted at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, over 40 emerging brands graced the runway with designs that embodied the spirit of the summer season.

The runway was alive with vibrant pastels and bold colors, setting the tone for the perfect summer inspiration. Creative Director Alina Kotsiuba’s collaboration with clothing and accessory designers resulted in uniquely styled, elevated looks. What stood out most was the diversity on the runway, with models reflecting a true sense of inclusivity—a key highlight for me behind the lens.

Exploring Cappadocia: ATV Adventures, Stunning Landscapes, and Cultural Gems!

Greetings from the enchanting land of Cappadocia! Join me on an unforgettable journey as I share my recent adventures in this mesmerizing Turkish city.

My excursion began with a seamless journey from the vibrant streets of Miami to the bustling atmosphere of Istanbul Airport. From there, a swift transfer took me to Kayseri Erkilet Airport, the gateway to the mystical landscapes of Cappadocia.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warmth of Turkish hospitality and whisked away on a scenic bus transfer to the heart of Cappadocia, where the charming Terra Cave Hotel awaited my stay. Nestled amidst the rocky terrain, this boutique accommodation promised a unique and authentic experience.

Eager to immerse myself in the natural wonders of Cappadocia, I embarked on the CAPPDOCIA ATV Turları - Hitchhiker Tour. This exhilarating journey led me through the iconic Sword Valley, the romantic landscapes of Love Valley, and the breathtaking Rosé Valleys, each offering a glimpse into the region's rich history and geological marvels.

Although I had hoped to take to the skies in a hot air balloon and witness Cappadocia's surreal beauty from above, Mother Nature had other plans, as the winds refused to cooperate. Nevertheless, the spirit of adventure prevailed, and I embraced every moment of my Cappadocian escapade with open arms.

Before bidding farewell to this captivating city, I couldn't resist a visit to Galerie Ikman - Cappadocia Rugs store, where the intricate artistry of Turkish rugs mesmerized me and served as a timeless memento of my Cappadocian odyssey.

As I reflect on my time spent in Cappadocia, I'm filled with gratitude for the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Until we meet again, Cappadocia, thank you for the magic!
